Hey! Look! Listen! Pay attention to me Link!!!
Look, I did something! Ok, now I'm done...
Just kidding :P I haven't updated in a while for one reason alone: I am lazy. One day, I don't even remember when that day was, I had to update. I said, I'll do it next time. The next time came and I just said... screw it. I don't have time (even though everyone knows by now that I have as much free time as a koala) to update this twice a week! So, it's been a good nubmer of weeks, but I'm finally updating. I'll try to tell you all everything interesting that has happened so far.
*Dancing to Weapon of Choice* A lot of things have happened. I won't remember half of them, so bear with me as I take my time. Hmm... well, looking at the last date that I updated, it seems that I do remember what I did. That week I was all worried about getting my papers in for Cross Country which started on August 9th. I had gotten all of my papers in finally, and then I started worrying about XC itself... I was all worried if I had trained enough (by the way, I really didn't) or if I had done everything that I needed to prepare for it.
Well, it started, and the first day we did an exhausting 4 miles. This was followed by a good amount of push-ups and sit-ups... So, I was really tired and I felt like crappy-wappy (FFXI still working in me.... ^^;). The next few days showed me how much I had not trained... But, after that week (we ran about 28 miles total) I felt better. I got new insoles that weekend, which felt like heaven when I walked with my shoes. Monday, we ran the same thing as we did the previous Monday (which after 7 miles the last Wednesday felt very easy). After about 3 miles, I started feeling something cutting into my right foot. After another half mile, I soon found out that it was my new insoles that didn't feel like heaven anymore. Basically, I screwed myself over with these new insoles.
I got home and found out that I had these huge blisters where I thought I was being cut by the insoles... That was not good. What was good, however, was the fact that we went to Algonkian Park the next two days. There we did "fun runs" which in fact were fun runs. All we did was run around the park for 45 minutes each day. This was very good because I was actually able to do the running and not kill my feet.
And today... well... we won't talk about today... Yesterday afternoon, for no apperant (sp?) reason to me, I felt like crap. Not the kind of really physically tired crap from Monday, but a different kind. I felt like I had been mentally smacked around for a few hours. You know how it goes basically if you have ever felt like this before. This morning I woke up (at 5:45 as usual) and I just couldn't get up... I felt sick and terrible. So, I slouched on over to my parents' room and told them that I wouldn't be going today and went back to bed. Yeah... it sucked... and it was an easy day too! Oh well... I'll be going tomorrow.
Oh, I almost forgot. Yesterday I got a Gamecube!!! *heavenly music* It's like... really spiffy. I got a free game with it too. One of my favorite games for it... Metroid Prime!!! Really spiffy. I love that game. Now I'll be able to borrow any games that my friends have and actually be able to play them ^^ (no buying games for me).
Well, there are signs of the Apocalypse about... I got my schedule for school today... It's terrible. No fun classes this year whatsoever (besides chemistry, computer math, and physics ^_^). I hope that this year I have good teachers and that the classes are at least semi-fun... Meh...
Well, I'm done for the day. I'll update whenever I can, no more schedule until I say so! Have fun ^_^
